Luna Twists Race Track - P52-Merlin - Space Engineers

Do you feel the need, the need for speed?
Well… you can’t. Not with 100m/s speed limit. What you can easily get is perspective breaking accelerations around this simple race track!
I don’t consider the test ship to be viable for actual test times because it is just a cockpit strapped to some thrusters and a tank.
The Not A Viper attempted to take the test ship layout and make it look like a ship. The iconic Colonial Vipers are quick and agile. This racing variant attempts to capture that essence and the best time of a completed ship.
The P-52 Merlin was the first racing ship designed for style and function. With its larger mass, acceleration suffers. Watch it almost zero out its speed around some of the turns and slowly pull out of them. But it sure does look sleek while doing so.

Space Engineers is a sandbox game about engineering, construction, exploration, and survival in space and on planets. Players build space ships, space stations, planetary outposts of various sizes and uses, pilot ships and travel through space to explore planets and gather resources to survive.
