Tucker dropped a major bombshell, but it didn't actually seem so. It was very subtle as he treated the bombshell as IMPLICIT, assumed and then nestled it between two other topics (Petroleum and Gold).

And by IMPLICIT, I'm referring to a psychological persuasion tactic. For example, it's like you're buying a car and the salesman, instead of asking "Would you like to add an upgrade package?" says, "Based on what you've told me this far, I would recommend the GOLD PACKAGE instead of the SILVER PACKAGE." Or instead a lecturer, instead of asking, "Does anyone have any questions?" asks, "What questions do you have for me?"
