This was a cave that Pablo Yoder would hike to as a youth and young married man. He would take along many others that enjoyed this type of hike. Pablo's love for nature and for the Creator was contagious. He had many many friends that will always remember his beautiful laugh and squinting eyes. Pablo loved the Lord and he loved sharing his testimony with others. He was a loving father, faithful friend, daring adventurer, beloved uncle and a hero of the faith. He will be remembered and as he's remembered he will be missed. The Lord called him home on October 14, 2022.
Pablo's oldest child Jacinto, (blue shirt farthest in the cave), lead a group of cousins on this hike in March 2023. We sang this song in memory of our dearly beloved Pablo. This was a song he would sing in this very cave. Tears flowed as we lifted our voices to the One who is in control of all things. It hurts but we have peace.
....When Christ shall come with shouts of acclamation
and take me home – what joy shall fill my heart!
Then shall I bow in humble adoration
and there proclaim, ‘my God, how great thou art!’
Then sings my soul…

I do not own this song, music or the words.
