Margaritaville at Sea Day 2 & 3, Freeport, Bahamas #margaritavilleatsea @margaritavilleatsea

We arrived to an overcast day in Freeport, Bahamas and headed up to breakfast at the buffet. We enjoyed some made to order omelets, bagels with smoked salmon and cream cheese, roasted potatoes, bacon, and scrambled eggs. The scrambled eggs were ice cold! Do not recommend.

Many departed the ship early for their excursions and we explored and empty ship. We had no intentions of scheduling an excursion as we've been to the Bahamas numerous times. We wanted to relax on the ship and enjoy her. Since their was another ship in the port, the additional and much larger straw market was open so we decided to walk over. The walk was about 10 minutes and there are no sidewalks. We still felt perfectly safe. The Freeport main straw market had a few bars, restaurants, plenty of shops, and fun for everyone. We spent a few hours there enjoying some local brews and walked back to the ship.

Once we were on board we went back to the buffet for lunch. The made to order stations were great! There was a made to order panini and pasta station. Both were delicious. After that we headed out to find some lounge chairs (there were plenty) and relax on this ship. The sun was in full force at this point and hot. We both took a dip in the pool and felt the same way -- it felt slimy. We are pretty sure they need to change the water more than they do considering how tiny they are.

Later that afternoon we hit up the Oasis Room for some Sports Trivia. Although fun, we do not recommend. This was the worst running trivia we have experienced on a cruise ship. Ever.

The sunset was beautiful leaving from Freeport and once we set sail we hit up the casino for some slots. We were winners! Ok, not big winners but we came out ahead with $22. After that it was time for the show and dinner.

Fins menu on night two was good. We did wait over 25 minutes for our two glasses of wine and the Sommelier felt bad. He brought us two complimentary glasses of champagne which we enjoyed with dessert.

After dinner we headed back to our room. It was time to pack a few things up and get some rest.
