The Choice: A Short Featuring Trickery and Deceit

With the growing rise of apathy and willful ignorance, the misleading of the masses has never been easier. We don't know what we don't know, and that vulnerability manipulators, such as my heart was, exploited for selfish-gain. It's too hard for the proud to admit when they are duped and descend further into delusion. Some people don't want the truth, and will hate us no matter the proof. It's better owning a few pearls than a mountain of uselessness.
