HE is with us! (Isaiah 15:1-16:13)

Looking at just the numbers it's like "Dang!" On the paper, it's one page, front and back, mostly, but still, yet in the one page I had almost gotten a title of, "Have you heard of my dear friend Lot." But One, it was Abraham whom GOD called friend back in Genesis, (though we are called friend now, not servants, for a servant doesn't know what their Master is doing, and we do, because our Master, JESUS, has let us in on it all by the power of HIS HOLY SPIRIT), still, as GOD looked after Lot in Genesis, so too now does HE look after the descendants of the man who was never supposed to be there in the first place (Leave your father's house and go to the land I show you) GOD cares, and because Abraham cares enough to stand in the gap, we see GOD move hundreds of years later in acts of grace, telling Moab, like us now, that fake "wooden" gods, be they carved or coded, have no power to save, only JESUS can and does. So while the women of Moab are crying out, GOD makes a way. While the people are moaning and mourning for the justice seen in the face of their pride, arrogance, rage, and boasting, there is still the Promise that the oppression and destruction will end, no more tears, no more sorrow, no more gnashing of teeth, but rather life, life, and more life. For while HE laments for Moab, justice must be done, and when it is seen, The KING will stand triumphant, welcoming in all who trust in HIS Name. (Also, is it just me or is anyone else majorly feeling Revelation in Isaiah and that we, like Simeon and Anna, are waiting for MESSIAH to return as they were waiting to behold HIM.)
