This remains true even though critics may object by pointing out to Albert Speer and Rudolf Hess serving for longer in Spandau.
Burt Lancaster and Spencer Tracy as main protagonists speak truths which remain true: Judges need to be aware of their responsibility. Evil will take its turn if innocent people are sentenced. And whoever is complicit must own their guilt.
