Dogwoods A Glorious View ❤️

Amidst greenery shared with sheep,
There stands a tree with blossoms to keep.
A dogwood tree with branches so bright,
Its beauty an enchantment, a pure delight.

Its petals pure as the driven snow,
A feast for the eyes, a glorious show.
Pink or white, they gleam in the sun,
A true symbol of spring, a season begun.

In the morning light, the dewdrops shine,
On the petals that form a perfect design.
A sight to behold, a picture so grand,
The dogwood tree stands tall and grand.

As the seasons pass, the leaves will turn,
The blossoms gone, the memories burn.
But the beauty of the dogwood will remain,
Forever etched, in our minds and hearts, a sweet refrain.

In Southern culture, dogwood trees have religious or spiritual significance. For example, in Christian tradition, the dogwood tree is said to have been used to make the cross on which Jesus was crucified, and the tree's blossoms represent the wounds of Christ.
