The Power of Positive Thinking: Lessons from Zig Ziglar

Zig Ziglar was an American author, salesman, and motivational speaker born in 1926 in Alabama. He grew up in Mississippi and joined the Navy V-12 Navy College Training Program during 1943-1945. Ziglar began his career as a salesman in Lancaster, South Carolina and later became a motivational speaker, founding the Zigmanship Institute, and speaking extensively for the National Association of Sales Education. He also wrote over 30 books and trained several speakers in Addison, Texas. Despite a fall in 2007, Ziglar continued to participate in motivational seminars until his retirement in 2010.
