Better Vintage or Better Deals? Antique Thrift Shopping Discoveries!

One-stop vintage and antique hunting is a great surprise when we take a random stop off the freeway to wait out traffic near Atlanta, Georgia! The Marietta Antique Mall turns out to share space with Furkids Thrift Shop, a fun bargain shopping space we've never heard of before.

Which will have the best stuff, and which will have the most profitable buys? We start at the thrift shop, where industrious workers are stocking the shelves with fresh donations...a 1960s skunk collection hits the shelves for just moments before we scoop them all up, a stylish 1930s trophy vase appears for under $6, and a Victorian cranberry tumbler is an outrageous deal at just $1.95! We scour this place thoroughly as we hunt for vintage and antiques among the usual thrift store offerings, and have a great time with their enthusiastic young collectors on staff.

Then it's across the parking lot to Marietta Antique Mall, where the stock (and prices) are more high-tone. Will we find bargains to rival the thrifts? Pricing is relative to what you're getting, we spend more on a single lamp than we did in the whole thrift store...but a Silver Springs, Florida scenic lamp shade on cypress knee base is worth the extra! This mall proves quite worth our time, and we come out with good deals on better vintage goods.

So we're tied after two stores as to which antique and vintage shopping experience is "better". Can a Goodwill stop at the last minute turn the tide towards thrifting versus antiquing? We'll let you watch to the end of the video to see what style of store treated us the best during today's antique hunt!
