Peter Murrell and Nicola Sturgeon's Glasgow home cordoned off by police

Police officers have been seen outside the home of the former SNP chief executive Peter Murrell and his wife, Scotland's former first minister Nicola Sturgeon. Murrell has been arrested in connection with an investigation into the funding and finances of the Scottish National party. The 58-year-old is in custody and being questioned by Police Scotland. Officers are carrying out searches at a number of addresses, a spokesperson added.
