Why Did You Start Traveling in a Van? | Solo Female Travel | VanLife Van Life | Travel Vlogger

In this video I am discussing how I started VanLife and why I started traveling in a van. I started traveling in my Toyota Prius after  a video, popped up on my YouTube feed from a young gentleman who was traveling, living in his Toyota Prius and also doing Lyft.  It intrigued me to find out more information since I wanted to travel, but wanted to do it in a very cheap, frugal, budget-friendly way.  So I built it out basically within 48 hours; a no-build buildout.  I started out, just staying in a parking space next to our place.  And went on short trips, anywhere from one night to couple of weeks after a year and a half I was gifted a minivan; Toyota Sienna from my partner. I’ve been traveling in the minivan and living in it for over a year and half now. I wish I had learned earlier in life that I am somebody that enjoys change of scenery. However, after marriage, that’s when I really discovered that I am not good at being complacent in a suburban environments, and really could not have partners that expected me to do so.
