Austin Teens Charged with Smuggling After Pursuit in Kinney County

Two Austin teens face human smuggling charges after a high-speed pursuit in Kinney County. The 15-year-old led DPS Troopers on a pursuit on US-90 and eventually bailed out into the brush. Five illegal immigrants also bailed out and ran. The driver and the 14-year-old passenger, both from Austin, were arrested and charged with evading and smuggling of persons.
