Ensoulment in the Hyperborean Epoch

In the Hyperborean Epoch of earthly development, the early human forms were first animated, or ensouled, by soul essences from the spiritual hierarchy.

Up to this point these early human beings had varied levels of consciousness, some were at the level of the plant kingdom, while others were functioning more at the level of the animal kingdom.

The beings that entered the Hyperborean form at this time were what we would recognize today as the Solar Spirits, or the Solar Fathers. These beings entered the earl, developing human body creating a powerful evolutionary impulse. This impulse is also known as the Christ Impulse.

The result was that some early humans were drawn upwards out of the lower kingdoms of life. They began to straighten up in their posture and lift from a horizontal position to an upright position. The rudiments of a spinal column formed, and like an antenna it reached for the sun. In fact, Humanity began to reach for the sun as the Spirit of Christ, or the Spirits of the Sun, had finally entered Humanity.
