Taking a break from the main story side mission gameplay, we start the Commander Lilith & the Fight for Sanctuary DLC to gain access to the great legendary gear drops, rewards and loot farm locations available there. At the beginning of the plot, we meet the funny character Vaughn and hear boss Colonel Hector's backstory lore as we kill the infected and collect sample objectives, making use of our Maliwan incendiary Good Touch SMG weapon against the large number of flesh based infected enemies encountered in the playthrough.

The Backburner is the location of our main base with many of Borderlands 2's familiar faces turning up there, ending the initial phase of the story progression.
