Clip 33 - Why Do All The Gods Require Blood And Sacrifices?

Have you ever realized the this strange connection between most of the ancient religions, including Biblical Christianity? They all required some sort of death and blood sacrifice, whether animal or human. This begs the question, what is it about blood that appeases the higher dimensional entities?

Jews and Christians don't get off any easier either! You would assume that the ancient Hebrew religion that claims to be "the one" and sets itself apart in so many ways from the gentiles outside of Israel would have a different view on this primary worship vehicle, but you'd be mistaken.

Sacrifices played a primary role in the Hebrew faith. Animal sacrifices were specifically commanded by Yahweh, the Jewish God, for the forgiveness of the people's sins. It was not a mere cultural tradition handed down from generation to generation or a practice that was mimicked from the surrounding nations. The Hebrew God himself demanded the death and blood of animals for the forgiveness of sins.

Christians came on the scene after the Hebrews, and some would say were a sect of Judaism. Interestingly enough Christianity never head this practice of animal sacrifices. However, this isn't because they were just more enlightened and kind. The Christian's believed that the ultimate sacrifice, not animal, not human, but divinity itself was sacrificed on a cross and his blood was shed once and for all to forgive the sins of all believers past, present, and future. Of course, we're talking about the death and the blood of Jesus Christ that was shed, putting an end to the need for sacrifices once and for all.

But what is it about death and blood that has any effect in the divine dimensions or realms?
