Horse-drawn Sorghum Mill Restoration - The FHC Show, ep 29

In this latest episode #29 of The Farm Hand's Companion Show, Pa Mac shows how he and some friends rebuilt an early 20th century Goldens' New Model #3 sorghum mill. He also shows how to mount the sweep pole that draft animals like mules or horses pull to power the sorghum press. Now Pa Mac's ready for to keep alive the southern tradition of raising, pressing, and cooking sorghum molasses on the small farm or homestead.

Be sure and subscribe to the Farm Hand's Companion channel to keep up with the progress as Pa Mac takes an undeveloped piece of property and turns it into a small subsistence farm. Watch for new episodes as often as Pa Mac can crank 'em out and still run a small farm. (As long as he's alive and kicking, he's most assuredly farming and filming!)
