Best melee weapons for the apocalypse: shovel, nail board, whatever does the most damage in this game. Seriously though, would you rather roll up on a fungus zombie with a sturdy shovel or a dinky nail board? Bro the shovel's got the reach AND the metal end to do serious damage while the nail board's only got like a foot or two of range. Darkwood is making me think to hard about the mechanics of using a shovel to fight mushroom monsters. Darkwood monsters are just straight up wack. Unless it's the wolfman or trader, they're the highlight of Darkwood.
