Saint Martin’s Island is a small island located in the northeastern part of the Bay of Bengal, about 9 km south of the tip of the Cox’s Bazar - Teknaf and forming the southernmost part of Bangladesh. It is also known as the only coral island of Bangladesh. The island has an area of only 3 km². Fishing is one of largest professional activities of St. Martin’s Island’s 5,500 residents
