Watch: Transport Minister, Chikungu takes a train ride from Nyanga to Cape Town

South Africa Cape Town- 04- April- 2023 MINISTER CHIKUNGA OFFICIALLY LAUNCHED THE NYANGA TO CAPE TOWN SERVICE ON THE CENTRAL LINE The Minister of Transport, Ms Sindisiwe Chikunga, took a train ride from Nyanga to Cape Town station to assess the work done to recover the rail infrastructure and stations on the Central Line. The extension of the Cape to Langa service to Nyanga has been one of PRASA’s 2022/23 financial year commitments and it’s resumption of services on the 20th of March 2023 marks a milestone in the full recovery of the Central Line.
