Jaeger: I have to admit I was a bit confused when we had the perfect future and the Primers still got away. But then going back to save senpai and the scout was awesome. It felt like I was playing a mod based off some fanfiction where everyone survives. That being said I don't think it's a bad direction for the story to go. I think it's a nice surprise especially years after EDF 5 I just accepted the fates of the side characters long ago. The Barga destroying the anchors just makes me want to invade an alien world and break all their stuff. It is very satisfying and seeing alien structures would be a nice stage design compared to the blocky human cities we see all the time. Apparently I'm missing out on a lot of the comedy due to the language barrier. Akari says the characters have funny reactions to everything the player is doing. They understandably have no idea why the player character is out maneuvering the enemies on the first day they appear as well as knowing how to operate all of the weapons and vehicles.

Behind the scenes: I'm hoping to speed up our output because of backlog of planned videos keeps growing too quickly. We do have a sort of rhythm going but sometimes random technical errors pop up. This video is a perfect example. The simple dip to black transition at the end started malfunctioning. Not all the elements would fade to black in sync despite the timing being the same. I double checked the transition settings over and over. We have also been doing it the same way for dozens of videos so it just wasn't adding up. I would export the video and the transition would be messed up on a different element for no apparent reason. So I just created my own crude fade to black transition after so many attempts of exporting and waiting 10 or so hours for the video to finish loading. Because the PNG chibi really slow down exports. After 5-6 attempts of getting a simple transition to work I was surprised at how much one hiccup could turnout to be such a drag on our schedule.

About Our Channel: We are an international married couple that enjoys gaming together. Jaeger was born and raised in the USA and Akari was born and raised in Japan. Both of us have played games throughout our lives and when we met each and started gaming together we had so much more fun together. Unfortunately we had so many great gaming moments together that it became difficult to remember them all. We began saving videos and screenshots as we played together but eventually our storage space started to fill up. So we moved to YouTube where there is plenty of storage and its safe from accidents. The channel name is We as in the English plural pronoun and 笑 read as "wara" for the Japanese kanji for laugh.
