During Sunday night’s CMT Music Awards, Kelsea Ballerini chose four “RuPaul’s Drag Race” queens to perform with her as she sang “If You Go Down (I’m Goin’ Down Too).” This is just a week after a transgender shooter killed innocent Christians. Clearly, the folks in charge of this event decided to blatantly mock the victims of this tragedy. Given the primary demographic for country music, who thought this was a good idea? Spitting in the face of your primary listening base seems like an ill-advised move, but in clown world, nothing needs to make sense. The White House released a “Proclamation on Transgender Day of Visibility,” saying trans Americans shape the country’s soul. Fortunately, the trans community is one of the most visible on the planet. Also, what rights do these people not have? Donald Trump is creating a spectacle in New York as he flies to the Big Apple in preparation for his arraignment tomorrow. Will the hoopla benefit the former president given the highly politicized nature of the case? A video making the rounds shows a high school student getting a lap dance from a drag queen while the staff cheers them on. Of course, they’ll tell you they aren’t after your kids, but we all know that’s not true. Dylan Mulvaney is now the new face of Bud Light. Why is the company doing this? It can’t be a prudent business decision, so one has to wonder what’s really going on. Marjorie Taylor Greene had quite the interview as she sat down with Lesley Stahl for “60 Minutes.” Most notably, Greene left Stahl stunned as she called Democrats pedophiles. While it sounds incendiary, is she wrong?
