St. Petersburg:

As a result of the terrorist attack in St. Petersburg, a colleague and military commander Vladlen Tatarsky died.

At least 24 more people were injured.

FSB have taken into custody a suspect. One Darya Trepova, the same person who brought a box into the cafe with a hidden IED which killed Vladlen Tatarsky.

Border areas:

Ukrainian formations shelled border villages in the Kursk region: there were no casualties in Iskra and Dronovka , seven people were injured in Nikolaevo - Daryino .

In the Belgorod region , the AFU attacked an agricultural enterprise and residential buildings in the village of Novopetrovka , civilians were not injured.

Starobilsk direction:

There are no changes on this sector of the front: the parties are engaged in artillery duels along the line of contact, positional battles continue in Serebryansky forestry and near the Zhuravka gully.

Soledar direction:

In Orekhovo-Vasilevka, the situation has not changed significantly: neither side has stable control over the settlement.

In the north of Bakhmut, assault detachments of the Wagner PMC are advancing along Levanevsky Street in the Selishchevsky District . Fighting is also taking place on the outskirts of the railway station.

In the south, Russian units began to storm the enemy positions on Bakhmutskaya Street: in the area of the local city council, the AFU is surrounded from two sides along Mira and Vasily Pershin Streets.

Heavy positional battles continue for control over the Bakhmut-Konstantinovka highway. The AFU is redeploying new reserves to hold a route that is strategically important for defense.

At the end of the day, the Head of Wagner PMC Yevgeny Prigozhin, placed both Wagner and Russian Flag on Top of the Administration Building of Bakhmut (Artemovsk). Proclaiming control and stating AFU only now remains on the western portions of the city.

Donetsk direction:

The situation remains steadily tense in the Avdeevka sector: Russian units continue their systematic offensive from Kamenka and Krasnogorovka , inflicting fire damage on AFU fortified areas.

Ukrainian formations again randomly shelled the Donetsk agglomeration : Donetsk, Yasinovataya and Yelenovka were also under attack. More than ten houses were damaged in Gorlovka, one man was wounded.

According to local authorities, three 110 kV transmission lines were damaged as a result of the attack on the Kurakhovskaya CHPP , which led to emergency blackouts in the Pokrovsky district.

Zaporozhye direction:

AFU fired rockets from rocket artillery at residential buildings and infrastructure facilities in Melitopol : at least six civilians were injured of varying severity.

Southern Front: Kherson direction:

Artillery duels continue along the entire line of contact: Russian troops hit AFU concentration sites in Kherson , Berislav and Dudchany .

In turn, the Ukrainian formations fired on the left bank of the Kherson region , including civilian objects in Novaya Kakhovka , Tavriysk and Aleshki .

Political events

Ukrainian authorities continue to illegally take away the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra from the canonical UOC-MP. On Saturday evening, the primate of the Lavra, Metropolitan Pavel, was placed under house arrest.

In Khmelnitsky, in the Holy Intercession Cathedral of the UOC-MP, a fight took place between a Ukrainian fighter and a priest, the first one threw off the Gospel and urged believers not to attend the churches of the Moscow Patriarchate, after which he was expelled by force.

Against this background, a crowd of citizens came to the temple and began to threaten the priests. The mayor of Khmelnitsky, in turn, promised to take away all plots of land from the temples of the UOC-MP.
