Statement by Press Centre Chief of Vostok Group of Forces

◽️In South Donetsk direction, Russian troops intercepted combined strikes of two HIMARS and three Smerch MLRS. S-300 and Buk SAM systems engaged all the targets.

💥The Vostok Group of Forces foiled two attempts by the enemy to conduct reconnaissance-in-force of the Russian forward positions and eliminated a reconnaissance team. Up to 20 militants were neutralised.

💥Osa-AKM and Strela-10 SAM systems shot down two Valkyrie and two Furia unmanned aerial vehicles.

◽️In Zaporozhye direction, Russian servicemen thwarted an enemy's attempt to deploy a sabotage and reconnaissance group in the rear area of the Russian troops. As a result, five militants were eliminated.
One Leleka UAV was shot down by small-arms fire.

💥During a counter-battery warfare operation, the Msta self-propelled artillery system detected and destroyed an enemy howitzer near Zaliznichnoye.
