The Vine Structure

What I’ve created is a voting and argument structure where a large group of people can have a conversation at the same time. By utilizing the voting and thread system of Reddit a conversation can flow an make sense.

First I’m gonna start with a statement. A statement can be a question, suggestion or an idea. We are going to be focusing on questions today. Then I’m gonna provide a reason why I’m making this statement. Since it’s a question I’m just going to give the statement. The first example will be what’s the best fruit to eat.

After that people are going to give their answers to the question I ask. With a reason why they are giving that answer.

After a period of 6 minutes once everyone gives an answer to my question. You are all going to vote on each other's answers for 3 minutes. Please do not comment under any of the answers yet wait until I tell you too. You can be funny if you want to make a joke, but keep it in the flow of conversations. So you have to answer that direct question with an answer with a reason why.

Then the top three answers to my question will float to the top. This will be the focus of the next round of conversation. Under the top three post I want you to give supporting or refuting arguments for the top three answers that were given. After another period of 6 minutes you need to vote on each other's arguments again this time underneath the top three answers. This will be another 3 minutes of reading and voting.

Under each of the answers the top two arguments for or against that answer will be the focus of the final round of conversation. These arguments must focus on whether they support/refute the particular argument that was given in the previous round of voting. This time you have 12 minutes of giving your supporting or refuting arguments and then 6 minutes of voting.
