This is probably one of the most difficult concepts to accept, and even if I have accepted this perspective, you do not need to for yourself. My higher self regards our life experiences as teaching moments to expand our soul, no matter how traumatic or challenging. That our soul chose that path bravely. We can look back on our hardships and rise out of victimhood by viewing those experiences from a wider lens. What did we learn from the experience? How have we grown as a result? How can this experience allow me to show up for others? It is up to ourselves to decide if our life experiences happen to us or for us.
