Building the Carnivore Chef. (Part 1)

Welcome to my latest knife making video! In this series, I'll be taking you through the process of making an 8 inch chef's knife that I've called the Carnivore Chef.

In part one of the series, you'll see me starting from scratch, profiling the blade by cutting out the blank and shaping the profile on a 2x72 belt grinder. I'll also be drilling pin holes, grinding the primary bevels, and heat treating the blade to make sure it's strong and durable enough for everyday use in the kitchen.

The steel I'm using is 8760 high Carbon Steel, a tough and resilient material that's perfect for chef's knives. And the grinder I'm using is the Revolution 2x72 by Housemade.us, a powerful and versatile tool that's essential for any serious knife maker.

If you're interested in purchasing any of the knives I've made, or if you want to follow me on social media to see more of my work, be sure to check out my website at http://creativeguiseproductions.com.

I'm excited to take you on this journey of knife making and to share my skills and insights with you. Whether you're an experienced knifemaker or just starting out, I'm confident that you'll find something to enjoy and learn from in this series. So sit back, relax, and let's get started!
