We Know How to Defeat This Virus: Follow the Science
Ladies and Germs?
According to two of your esteemed colleagues, "Eddie" Holmes and Kristian Andersen, “[f]ailure to comprehensively investigate the zoonotic origin through collaborative and carefully coordinated studies would leave the world vulnerable to future pandemics arising from the same human activities that have repeatedly put us on a collision course with novel viruses.” Along with Mike Worobey, along with now Florence Debarre, when we look at the Lineage A and B origins of a current public health crisis, it appears that the answer is raccoon dogs.
I am not a scientist or a medical professional, nor am I an attorney, but at least someone at DoD, specifically DIA, had believed that I possessed sufficient procurement knowledge to be offered a job as an analyst, a job for which there is no evidence I ever applied, and in an expired mission. My days of being a biological warfare planner go back three decades, and, to be perfectly honest, when I received the lucrative job offer, with an expiration date on the day before a deadline to enter the VA8GOP nomination convention, I had believed it was an attempt to entice me from a congressional race against former U.S. Ambassador Don Beyer, Jr., amounting to at least an illegal gratuity under 18 U.S.C. Section 201, a predicate offense under the federal racketeering statute.
Several litigations later, I learned from MSPB that such a job thousand would have taken, and not tried to sue the government. My bad.
And, perhaps I owe my buddy Don Beyer an apology, as so often I was told by an anonymous troll, who owns a tax-free property in Arlington, has the ability to inbox people on Facebook and block their reply, and who is apparently operating above the law to the extent that the police will not even investigate him or his cyberbullying, because several litigations have made it perfectly clear that I was not being offered a bribe. Thank God.
However, that leaves this former biological warfare planner being offered a job as a procurement analyst before a once-in-a-lifetime pandemic that is now the longest in history, and attributed to a coronavirus with larger than expectation viriols, with a gain of function that enables them to defy computational fluid dynamics to deliver a payload to a point, rather than an area target, which, in sufficient exposure, could pose an outdoor threat and even defeat industrial grade or military grade respiratory protection, and which just happened to have a case study suggesting that its effective range perfectly matched the parameters of a standard smoke grenade munition, or 30 square meters, requiring in that instance about an hour to deliver an infectious dose, which, according to the CDC, remains an unknown metric, three years into a pandemic, an odd metric not to know because we cannot develop an effective vaccine or determine the correlates of protection without that knowledge, in the absence of a large sample size phase three clinical trial in which at least 70% of Americans appear to have volunteered, over 94% of our military, but only 42% of DoD civilians.
Obviously, from all empirical evidence, nobody in the scientific community is concerned that virus particles are the most abundant biological particles in the world, and before only the seventh human coronavirus, they had produced only a total of 219 threats to mankind. Nor does there appear to be any concern that Wei Ji had determined that the novel coronavirus, of a quite singular etiology, possessed an ophidian codon usage bias, despite the fact that there are over three thousand coronaviruses that infect mammals and over three thousand that infect birds, but none, at least prior to our present evolving science, none that infect reptiles, nor specifically snakes, Chinese krait or king cobra, according to Dr. Sanjay Gupta.
But this raccoon dog theory just appears to be putting us on the wrong path by simple probabilities, or basic high school math, and if you recall the scene in Fail Safe, some became concerned that the Russians were chasing the decoys and letting the bomber get away, while in No Way Out, Commander Ferrell actually had his computer savvy buddy alter the pixel sorting algorithm to buy more time so he could ya know? Escape. Maybe it's just a movie, but a good plan. It's wholly conceivable it could work.
I found it odd that none of the "These Are Raccoon Dogs" articles in the press made any mention that they tend to fatten up in the fall and hibernate in the winter when our pandemic began. Maybe just an oversight, a word that always made me giggle like a school kid when working in intelligence oversight. And the silence from the fact-checkers always prompt to debunk medical misinformation or even the scientific community that has saved us from unacceptable losses attributed to a validated less than five percent secondary attack rate disease, which apparently has found approximately 90% of its fatalities amongst the elderly, who, empirically, probably were gonna die from something eventually anyway. I follow the science.
However, finding no answers or responses from my pen pals of pandemic in the science community, including Worobey, Holmes, Baric, and even Andersen, not to mention the "It's in the Air" rock star environmental engineer Linsey C. Marr getting around to a reply, with time being of the essence, at least according to the Wall Street Journal, which has estimated that over 15 million persons worldwide have succumbed to COVID-19, twice the figures officially reported by the WHO, perhaps you can get back to me on my thoughts set out in the attached PowerPoint briefing, apparently the choice method at CDC when Dr. Rochelle Walensky finds a most contagious disease she has ever seen in 20 years of practice--up there with 90% secondary attack rate chickenpox and measles, but only measured primarily for transmissibility in reproductive number, which the CDC, in 2019, had said, was not a rate, and vulnerable to manipulation by less than scrupulous persons.
I am currently on appeal to the Virginia State Supreme Court in an attempt to have a grand jury investigation convened on circumstances arising from the infection and death of Senator Tim Kaine's dear friend, Bishop Gerald Glenn, but no big rush. And no pressure, evolutionary or otherwise.
Thanks so much, and look forward to hearing from you. And, y'all come back now, hyeah?
