My First Plane flying with Delta airlines!
My first plane ride was a memorable experience that I will never forget. I still remember the feeling of excitement and anticipation as I watched the plane take off from the ground. The view out of the window was incredible, with puffy white clouds below me and blue sky above. It felt like I had been transported to another world! It was interesting since it was my first time flying I went to Kansas to meet my boyfriend for the first time we have been in a long distance relationship for 8 months and I took time off since he was off a week as well. First time I flew I took economy and there was a 48 minute layover in Atlanta then to Kansas. Economy was fun since there were movies and a flight tracker there to watch how far you are traveling. It was interesting taking off kinda like a ride complete with seat belts and it took some getting used to being in the air. Also, when I went through TSA security my corset and glitter set off the machine so I know now never to wear those. It was pretty easy to navigate the Richmond airport. The Atlanta one I was the most worried about since the airport was huge. And I tried to walk from concourse A to C but took the train since it would be faster. Also reminded myself to not look down. 48 minutes was rushing it close but I made it there. From Atlanta to Kansas it was 2 hours and some change and they didn’t have the flight tracker. Also, a tip bring your luggage with you to the gate to see if it can be carried on and if not Delta will fly your stuff for free. I never got used to landing.

When I went back Saturday it was an early flight and a 1 hr and 31 minute layover in Atlanta to back home. Also, switched to Delta’s Comfort plus from Kansas to Atlanta and then first class from Atlanta to Virginia. It was wayy better then economy. Comfort plus means more leg room and boarding after first class it was awesome. Still the same feelings taking off and landing. Of course, landing is always rough. I also loved First class the best since they offer complimentary booze. They even had my favorite snack too! I think the best part about this trip with Delta was that I didn’t have to worry about my luggage. Even though we had a tight layover with the first time, I felt better knowing they would take care of it so that when I arrived at home, everything would be there. I always try to go the extra mile when it comes to flying with Delta. Also, first class has the most room and you get to board first it also came with a free mini water bottle, headphones and wipes. All in all I’m definitely choosing Delta for my next flight. It was nice having a longer layover since once I got from F to A using the train I went to a gift shop and got a shot glass to collect. It wasn’t bad flying at all but it took some getting used to!
Also, booking economy first and then they can offer you upgrades to first class and comfort plus way cheaper then just booking them outright. Never check bags in instead go to the gate to ask if you can carry it on with you and they will do it free of charge for you to the end destination if you have connecting flights. Always take the train and look at signs.
