Lion Roar in Africa

7
One interesting fact about lions in Africa is that they are the only social big cats, living in groups called prides that can consist of up to 40 individuals, although they are usually smaller. These prides are usually made up of females and their cubs, along with a few males, and they work together to hunt and defend their territory. Lions are also apex predators, which means they are at the top of the food chain and play a vital role in maintaining the balance of the African ecosystem. Unfortunately, lion populations in Africa have declined drastically over the past few decades due to habitat loss, poaching, and other threats.
