Once upon a time there was a beautiful and vain rose that lived in a very beautiful garden.
She loved being admired and praised by people who passed by, but she didn't understand why her neighbors, the thorns, were always so quiet and why they never said anything about him.

It was then that she felt that the thorns, which had seemed so useless before, were protecting her from harm.
