She was willing to put her reputation, future prospects and personal comfort on the line to say something far too few people with power have been willing to admit: It’s wrong to allow a biological male make a mockery of women’s sports. The real story here is not Lia Thomas and his gender dysphoria. The story is the power-players, like the NCAA and ESPN, allowing it in the first place.
