Hello everyone, how are you doing? This is Fernando Souza.

In the first 24 hours after the much-awaited release of iOS 16.4 and iPad iOS 16.4, finally, after some meetings at Apple, our glorious company released the update and, 24 hours after this release, some users who updated their devices reported relatively smooth experiences, despite some graphic glitches, such as the disappearance of the phone's power icon and the reminder widget not filling in correctly, as well as wallpaper distortion. Apart from that, no other serious flaws or issues were reported. Just a reminder, subscribe to our channel, give it a like, and turn on the notification bell for new updates, okay? It takes work to make this video.

So, coming back, however, there are still concerns with the system reports of iOS 16.4 that increased in several cases for users after the update. It is expected that Apple will address this problem in iOS 17, which will be available on the iPhone 15 in the future.

What has also improved in this iOS 16.4 is that users who updated to iOS 16.3.1, which was released, many users of iPhone X, XR, XS, and even some iPhone 11 had some issues, such as Face ID failure and quick battery drain. These bugs were fixed in the new version of iOS 16.4 and some users within the United States reported a considerable improvement in battery consumption using this new update.

Another new feature of this update is that it had 33 new security fixes and much more. It is important to highlight that none of the vulnerabilities is a threat. This means that there was no exploitation by hackers before the correction was presented. Among these fixes, there are also two for the kernel, and they are: CVE 2023-27969, and CVE 2023-27933, which address vulnerabilities that could allow hackers to execute malicious code on iPhones and iPads. Therefore, it is highly recommended to update, according to Apple.

Although problems may arise as more users update their devices, so far, the update has occurred without significant problems, according to Apple. As a result, it is recommended that you update your devices. Our note is as follows: we all know that an update is not always so good, depending on the device model you have, it ends up having some problems, as some users reported, the problems are related to battery consumption from the 16.3.1 update. So, it is worth noting that every update can contain errors, fix some bugs, and therefore bring bugs to other older models. This is what we call planned obsolescence. We don't know. Every time Apple makes a new update to fix a bug, we don't know what happens or what is added, but in the end, it often ends up being useful for some and a headache for others. And this headache often includes taking the device to a technical assistance center. By taking the device to technical assistance, you will spend some money to do, in most cases, repairs on the board in a cell phone or on the Face, or even on a possible screen replacement due to software failures. This can happen. So, it's good to wait for a new update. Watch how iOS 16.4 behaves because we don't know what Apple is doing on the other side. The tip is to wait a little longer, wait to know if there will be any new iOS 16 updates, but the best remedy now is to wait for time. Alright? A big hug, God bless you, and see you in the next video.
