Judge authorizes prosecutor to make Trump indictment public

According to a court document, a judge has given permission to the Manhattan district attorney to announce to the public that a grand jury has issued an indictment in the case of former President Donald Trump.

The indictment relates to a $130,000 payment made to adult film actress Stormy Daniels in order to keep quiet about an alleged encounter with Trump before he was elected president.

Following the news of the indictment, former Vice President Mike Pence expressed concern that the decision would send a negative message about American justice and potentially embolden dictators to abuse their power.

On Friday morning, news reports about former President Donald Trump’s indictment caught the attention of the media, the Jerusalem Post reported.
