Full Video - https://youtu.be/Lq67f8F-sPg
Taking care of your tools is very important. Just because you purchased a battery-operated chainsaw and you do not have engine maintenance does not mean the rest of the saw does not need regular maintenance. Every chainsaw should be cleaned after each use and even more so annually.
In this video, we go through all the steps that everyone should complete for taking care of their battery-operated chainsaw.
We Assume you do these items each time you use your chainsaw!
- Start with a visual check: can you see any damage on the chainsaw? Are the guide bar, saw chain, chain catcher, and other accessories correctly fitted?
- Test the throttle trigger, throttle trigger lockout, and chain stop.
- Test whether the chain brake is working as it should.
- Check for bar oil and the oil tank cap are sealed.
After use, clean the chainsaw and remove any shavings and dust.
