There is always a Hope in Every Season
(A poem on the Graduation Day of LUBM on 12.11.2022)
By: Dr. Hammad Ahmed Bhatti
MBA HCM 2020-21

When the entire world was hidden behind the mask,
I was impatient to clinch upon an academic task.

Serving the ailing humanity, I was doomed with adversity,
Chosen by the lady luck, suddenly I heard of Lincoln University.

I was honored when my alma mater spread its cuddling arms,
And I was welcomed like an adorable mother’s charms.

Felt shy to be a student at middle age, all with my grey hair,
But whispering were the online classes that they will take care.

In over a year’s journey there were some computer glitches,
But here I am, as I am thrilled to embrace the new switches.

Today in the caps and gowns, and faces beaming with pride,
Our friends, families and mentors are sitting here merrily beside.

Age, distance and dearth of time should never be a reason,
To bloom and thrive, there is always a hope in every season.
