What an adventure in the overlanding through the mountains and valleys in the Cherokee National Forest in East Tennessee. So much cool history and awesome mountain roads.

The scenery was beautiful! From mountain streams, rushing rapids, mountainside waterfalls, to scenic view of mountain peaks in the distance. We had such an awesome time. We are happy to bring you this series of videos from this trip.

We started out day having some coffee next to a stream at the Lost Creek Campground. It is a free pack in/ pack out organized campground with 13 campsites. After packing up camp, we hit the mountain roads looking for adventure!

We even took a side track and ended up at a historic civil war era cemetery, the Butler Cemetery. This was unexpected and quite amazing.

This region is so rich in history. We saw the remains of an long abandoned cement factory and town. See information below:

It is amazing the amount of work, engineering, and imagination it must have took to build what was built deep in the mountains. So much fun to explore and discover things.
