When the IRS Comes Knocking at Your Door What are you Going to DO? Know your RIGHTS!

However, there are limited circumstances when the IRS comes to a home or business as part of a collection investigation, audit, or ongoing criminal investigation. We are introduced to the different types of IRS civil enforcement employees, such as Revenue Officers and Revenue Agents, who work to resolve compliance issues and help taxpayers become and remain compliant with the tax laws. Finally, the section provides information on reporting impersonation scams to the IRS.
