Canada: RCMP reacts to Nova Scotia Mass Casualty Commission's final report– March 30, 2023

Members of the RCMP speak with reporters in Truro, Nova Scotia, following the release of the Mass Casualty Commission's final report into the province's 2020 mass shooting. RCMP Constable was among the 22 people killed during the April 18-19th rampage, which is the worst mass shooting in Canadian history. The independent public inquiry began its public proceedings on February 22, 2022. It heard from over 230 witnesses as part of its investigation. Witnesses included RCMP members, first responders, victims' families, and the common-in-law spouse of the gunman.
