The Walt Disney Company has terminated Marvel Entertainment Chairman Ike Pearlmutter after absorbing the division into other corporate parts of the parent company.

Disney is using the excuse of consolidation and cost cutting, and while that may bear SOME merit, there's a FAR bigger story here.

Ike Pearlmutter did NOT get along with Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige or Disney CEO Bob Iger and former Marvel second, Victoria Alonzo absolutely HATED Pearlmutter. Why? Politics. Plain and simple.
