DEVOTIONAL AND TIME OF PRAYER (6:15PM)

"He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.” - Rev. 21:4

It has been a heartbreaking week. In Nashville, TN and Rolling Fork, MS we've seen tragedies occur in places and environments that we can relate to. And just like the men and women of Scripture, we have questions - we want to know why these things happen, and how any good can come from situations so dark. Situations like this 'stress test' our faith. They bring our fears to the surface. They cause us to ask 'why' and to look up for answers.

Tonight, in lieu of our normal evening class, we'll have a devotional in the sanctuary on recent events - and we'll see how God's Word addresses our questions. Following this, we'll have a time of prayer for those involved.
