Best Homemade Spider, Ant & Mouse Repellant

After I made this homemade spider repellent I realized it would be very useful to repel other insects and pests, primarily ants, mice, mosquitoes, and even bedbugs.
Over the years I have made over a dozen videos on how to get rid of different pests in the home and they are all in my playlist.

A common request has been for me to make a video on spiders and how to get rid of them. Nearly all of the videos I have made on pest control have been concerning insects and rodents that I have had trouble with personally. Spiders, on the other hand, have never really given me a problem. What I decided to do is to research the topic thoroughly and come up with the best low-cost, easy-to-make repellent for spiders. This homemade repellent just so happened to be also excellent for many other insect and rodent problems in the home.
The peppermint oil does a very good job of repelling mice ants and spiders. The clove oil is similarly useful, but it also will work with mosquitoes and bedbugs to some extent.

Remember to apply this on the outside of your doors and windows where the insects or rodents may be entering. If you have problems with rodents getting into your vehicles the spray is good to use in your engine department so long as you don't spread on electrical components or metal that could corrode.

My peppermint all came from Walmart at a very good price, but prices fluctuate a lot. So I'm going to leave a link to a highly regarded brand of essential oils that sell peppermint oil and clove oil.

Plant Therapy Clove Bud Essential Oil 100% Pure, Undiluted, Natural Aromatherapy, Therapeutic Grade 10 mL (1/3 oz) https://amzn.to/3TUmNhu

LorAnn Peppermint Oil SS Natural Flavor, 1 dram bottle (.0125 fl oz - 3.7ml - 1 teaspoon) https://amzn.to/3nxzySH

Please take precautions when using essential oils or dilutions of essential oils. I do not recommend getting this repellent on your skin are in your mouth or eyes, and I recommend eye protection whenever making any chemical solutions.
Be sure to keep essential oils and sprays or dilutions out of the reach of young children.

I do not claim any expertise in the use of essential oils for therapeutic treatment or home remedies and I'm recommending this repellent to be used only on the exterior of your home windows and doors, etc.

I don't have any information regarding the safety of this material with your pets and would recommend you research the topic yourself. Nor is this repellent something you should use on any pet for any reason.

Please let me know in the comments how your homemade repellent worked for you.

Not many people know this but YouTube now allows viewers to leave a tip by using the thanks button below the videos on YouTube at least on some channels.
In addition, I have an Amazon affiliate link, and anything that people buy anywhere on Amazon after they enter Amazon via my link Jeff Bozos throws me a few pennies.
At least until he can get robots to start making YouTube videos and posting links for him. Don't laugh. The robot YouTube video content creators are just around the corner.
