Thomas continues the Cold War series by going into background on former General Secretary of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union, Konstantin Chernenko. He then gets into the story of a West German citizen, Mathias Rust, who used a modified Cessna 172 to fly to Moscow, evading legendary Soviet air protocols and landing on a bridge in Red Square in what he termed a "diplomatic mission."
