I nailed the basics of the hud but I still didn't look like I was inside the iron man. I needed to light the face according to the colour of the display, whether it was pink, blue, or red. Also, a bulge effect gave everything a nice curve like a helmet or tight cockpit. Playing with the 3D effect for the circle parts was the game changer though!

Use of effect:
Maybe you'll inherit Eidith glasses from Tony Stark like Spiderman, or maybe you'll board a mech and fight giant aliens... I don't know, but if you don't know how to make the effects, it's going to be lame lol. The things that make a good hud from a bad hud are first great hud elements that make sense (vitals monitor, battery level) and in my opinion lighting the face from the display so that it looks like it's really there. Have fun with it!
