To help soldiers quickly tell friend from foe, the Pentagon is issuing playing cards featuring 52 different NATO weapon systems.

By supplying billions of dollars worth of weapons, the West seeks to give Ukraine an advantage in the war with Russia. But the dizzying amount of weapons heading onto the battlefield can make it hard for troops to tell friend from foe.

So the US Army has developed a new training tool that appears to be tailor-made for this conflict: a set of playing cards featuring 52 different NATO-made tanks, armored personnel carriers, trucks, artillery mounts and other weapon systems, plus two jokers.
