In this video you'll see us unbox and explore what is inside the box with the just-release 16-Bit HD Clone System compatible with Super Nintendo Entertainment System and Super Famicom Game System 16-bit cartridges.

We all know by know how popular the SNES Classic has been. While easier to get than the NES Classic was in 2016 the SNES Classic still has some inventory issues. This is where companies like Gamerz Tek hopes to take advantage, not only with stock status but compatibility to play actual cartridges.

One of the first series of videos we started RoXolid Videos with were videos covering a number of 8-bit NES style clone systems that were equipped with HD HDMI-outputs. Since then a number of companies have announced systems compatible with 16-bit games from Nintendo, specifically the Super Nintendo and Super Famicom. Gamerz Tek is one of the first to start shipping their machine which, for us, is exciting since we absolutely loved the 8-bit HD NES clone system with HDMI. The system just arrived and need to unbox it before we can review it.

This unit was ordered direcly from Gamerz Tek and they were kind enough to expedite the shipping for us to help be able to get our unboxing and review done early.

For $49.99 the Gamerz Tek 16-bit HD includes a lot of great features. Of course it comes with an HDMI port, otherwise it wouldn't be an HD system, but it also includes an HDMI cable and stereo AV cables. One nice upgrade from the original 8-Bit HD is the switch to a Micro USB-Port for power and includes both a Micro USB Cable and a power brick. The power brick has a 1-amp output meaning many televisions can provide suitable power directly from the USB ports on the back. Pretty cool. One other item on the back of the 16-bit HD is a 16:9 and 4:3 switch, allowing you to choose how you want your display to look.

Another thing that is pretty cool is the inclusion of 2 SNES/SFC-inspired controllers. One thing we don't see often is an integrated strain relief which will help protect the delicate wires inside from the occasional controller toss in frustration.

Overall the 16-bit HD is well equipped from the box and we can't wait to get to testing, which is what we're going to go take care of. Make sure you stay subscribed to RoXolid Productions to get alerted when we post our final review.
