Welcome to the eighteenth episode of Switch It Up where we will be discussing this week's new releases in the Nintendo Switch eShop. Some weeks, like this, we'll be cram-packed full of new releases. Others will have just a few announcements. This show is mainly about the digital releases on the system, however, we will discuss key physical releases when appropriate.

There are two standout releases for me this week. The first being Kentucky Robo Chicken, as I've actually been able to play this game and quite enjoyed it. It has basic physics, good contorls and has been pretty fun.

The second title is perhaps the oddest named and that's Shikhondo - Soul Eater. When I saw the footage it immediately reminded me of Ikaruga! Ikaruga is hard as hell but also amazingly satisfying and fun. I don't know what the two women on the front of the game have to do with the game but if it's as good as it looks sign me up!

Above and beyond these two titles Lifeless Planet & Broforce look interesting but, honestly, they've been out for some time on other systems. BroForce has even been a Playstation Plus Free Game, so why would I buy it on the Switch?
