Portland Retro Gaming Expo 2018- New Gear & Interview with Castlemaniagames.com Ryan Schlemmer

In this video, we visit with Ryan Schlemmer from CastleMania games.com at the 2018 Portland Retro Gaming Expo.

One of the first websites I went to when I got back into Retro Gaming with CastleManiagames.com. They had some really cool gear, from controllers to cleaning accessories, tools and even some awesome plushies and backpacks. Since that time I've been lucky enough to get to know the man behind the scenes at Castle Mania games.com, Ryan Schlemmer.

If you don't know Ryan yet you should. Ryan is one of the most active people I know in the Retro Gaming Community. Not just from a sales standpoint, and he sells some really cool stuff, but he's a supporter of anyone doing something really cool in the Retro Gaming scene. Even people who are involved in the retro gaming community that have other projects, he's there to provide support.
Ryan had some really cool stuff on display. Now, most of the items I had already known about one of the coolest things that I got to see that Ryan had, through his partnership with Retro-Bit, was the new Platinum Edition Nintendo 64 Controller that will be coming soon. They also had working samples of the new Retro-Bit Sega Genesis and Sega Saturn controllers, and I have to tell you, these things feel amazing in the hand.

One of the most novel items he had on display had to be the toilet timer from Adam at 1UP Card. This is a great little conversation piece to help make sure people are not procrastinating.
