In this video, I get to unbox a special box from viewer 1980PainForFun, AKA Dan, containing a custom Sega Genesis game, a great note and more.

We recently posted a video, a collaboration with the amazing Jluv81, discussing how to build an amazing Sega Genesis collection for under $100. Jen and I came at the video from the perspective of gamers who, instead of playing the Genesis during its actual run, played the SNES. Sure, I had played a Genesis here and there, but I was all-Nintendo all the time. Since then, however, I have discovered the greatness that exists when you're playing, not with Super Power, but when you embrace Blast Processing.

One of our viewers, Dan, really appreciated that video and reached out to see if he could send something to the channel to show his appreciation. Of course, I accepted and the result is what we see in this video.

First up is a custom ROM Hack of Streets of Rage 2, a game I've only discovered in the last 6 months and really enjoy. This mod of the game adds in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles characters into the game. All four turtles, Michelangelo, Donatello, Raphael, and Leonardo are all here, in living color and ready to fight.

I have to say the way these characters are placed in the game is amazing! They remind me of the character sprites in Hyperstone Heist honestly, and that's a great thing. The gameplay is pretty tight too and, frankly, using the turtles gives you an advantage as it seems like their range is greater than the standard character's range.

Next up are some custom decals for CastleVania Bloodlines, and these are really well done. There are 4 decals in here and they look amazing. I don't know if Dan bought these or made these but they are awesome looking.

Finally, Dan also sent along a copy of the manual for Sonic the Hedgehog 2 because he noticed I didn't have a manual in our recent video on Genesis games. It was an amazing way to wrap up the gift box and I truly was amazed.

Again, thanks so much to Dan for sharing and his generosity. We'll be streaming TMNT in Streets of Rage 2 in the future, so make sure you stay subscribed to the channel to see that.
