In this video, we check out and unbox some cool remotes we'll be reviewing for the nVidia Shield TV & MiBox 3 along with a very cool gift sent to the channel from 1Up John.

When I was a kid, my family celebrated the St. Nick holiday each December.St Nick, who was a real person, came to visit every year on the night of December 5th, and we'd get goodies and gifts in our stockings when we woke up the morning of. This was what we did before Elf on a Shelf was even a thing. St. Nick was our warning sign, if we were in trouble with Santa, St. Nick would fire a warning shot for us to straighten up.

Well, for St. Nicks 2018 I received 2 packages, which felt like the perfect time for me. The first package included two items we'll be reviewing here on the channel. RoXolid Productions really started when we did our Cord Cutting series of videos, including reviews on the nVidia Shield TV. While it is an amazing device, searching and typing on the on-screen keyboard leaves a LOT to be desired. Ipazzport.com sent us a remote for both the Shield TV and the MiBox to test out, and we will in a future video.

The other box came to us from John, aka 1UpJohn on Twitter. John, who has been trolling me lately with my utter dislike of coffee, said he found something on eBay that he felt he had to send, so he did. I was expecting something coffee related, but I was pleasantly surprised to see a new, in the box, Playmates Earthworm Jim Action Figure! It is absolutely glorious, it is in amazing shape and I really want to thank John for sending the very thoughtful gift.

And coffee sucks.
